Our History

The branch was originally formed at Wangaratta in 1999 but closed in June 2000 with all relevant documentation transferred to Wodonga, with the official opening of the Wodonga Branch effective from the 5th June 2000.

The branch commenced its training at the Little Athetics Training Ground at Pearce Street Wodonga but in October 2000 transferred training to the Community Centre Complex at Baranduda being a much larger area for training.

In early 2008 due to the distance that Baranduda was away from the more populated areas of Albury/Wodonga the branch was fortunate to be allocated a training area at the Wodonga Institute of TAFE being a more central position for the greater population and where training is carried out today.
